Micrometer eyepieces are rarely used as independent testing instruments, and are often used as components of micrometer microscopes (including reading microscopes used on various complex instruments), micrometer collimators, and microscopes. Among them, it is often used in various reading microscopes.
When a micrometer eyepiece is used in a microscopy system, its function is to subdivide and read the division grid values (including ruler and circular dial), so the direct expression is linear micrometering; when used for telephoto When the system, it appears as a micro measurement of the angle. Although the two measurements are quite different, the basic principles and structure of the micrometer eyepieces used are the same.
2. Specification
Eyepiece magnification:15X, 10X
Eyepiece micrometer:0-8mm
Drum minimum scale value: 0.01mm
Eyepiece line field:8.5mm
3. Principle
XQC-15 × (10 ×) micrometer eyepiece adopts the screw type micrometer principle.
As shown in the figure, the movable reticle with crossed lines and double score lines can be moved perpendicular to the optical axis of the eyepiece by the push of the micro-screw rod,X-direction relative movement with eyepiece fixed reticle with 0-8 scale
Each rotation of the screw rod moves 1mm in the axial direction, and the drum grid value is 0.1mm;
The fixed reticle grid value is 1mm. That is, the micrometer screw rotates once, and the double score lines of the movable reticle move one grid relative to the fixed reticle. Therefore, reading the integer value on the fixed division plus the tail value on the drum is the reading of the measurement target. The difference between the two readings of the two edges of a measured object is one measurement.
4. Instructions
Place the microscope on the surface of the object to be measured, adjust the eyepiece vision circle to make the dividing line in the field of view clear, and adjust the microscope focal length to make the imaging on the dividing surface clear.
Turn the micrometer eyepiece to make the movement direction of the micrometer screw parallel to the measurement direction of the measured object, and then tighten the fixing screw
Turn the micrometer drum to align the cross point of the moving reticle with the boundary of the object to be measured.Read the integer value of the double graticule corresponding to the fixed reticle scale plus the tail value on the micrometer drum, and that is the starting point "a" of the measured object. Then rotate the micrometer drum to align the center of the cross with the other boundary of the measured object.
Read the integer value of the double graticule corresponding to the fixed reticle scale plus the tail value on the micrometer drum, and that is the starting point "b" of the measured object.
5. Maintenance
The instrument should always be kept clean and dry. Wipe away moisture and oil with a soft cloth after use. Use a soft, oil-free pen to wipe the dust off the lens. Wipe the unclean place with a clean, soft, fine cloth moistened with the mixture; store the instrument in a box in a dry and humid room.
The instrument should often use the matching objective lens micrometer to calibrate the accuracy of the magnification. If there is a deviation, the instrument can be restored to its normal state by adjusting the position of the objective lens positioning nut and objective lens.
